I absolutely love being in the mountains. I've been most intimate with our closest 14er, Mt. Sneffels in the San Juan range. I've explored most of the Alpine Loop, completed tons of hikes, and even spent a week hiking around Sneffels from Telluride to Ouray. It's rare that I bring a camera on these adventures as I'm always worried about weight and weather. Fortunately, Yankee Boy Basin is a nice accessible point a few thousand feet below the summit. It also has one of the most beautiful streams I've seen.
