I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to Arches National Park. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hiked up to the famous “Delicate Arch.” It’s usually full of people. I view it as a great opportunity to sit with a snack and people-watch. This time I decided to approach the arch on an adjacent ridge. I’d seen people on it before, but had never taken the time to find the right route. I guess it was a good combination of time of day and time of season, because no one was there. Worked out in my favor.
